PURPOSE:To obtain a thermal recorder excellent in maintenance and operability, by providing a cassette type recording paper case detachable from the apparatus, a lever for pressing a thermal head through a spring while holding the paper pipe of the recording paper in the case and a feed roller for grasping the leading end of the recording paper to feed the same. CONSTITUTION:A slide link 3 moves to right in such a state that a cover 2 before the setting of recording paper is opened and a pressure link 5 falls through a wire 4 to be held to a stand-by state and the setting of recording paper is enabled. When the recording paper 11 is set and the cover 2 is closed, the slide link 3 is slid to left by a spring 12 and the table 7 having the recording paper mounted thereon rises to contact the recording paper with a thermal head 8 and a feed roller 9 and, at the same time, the wire 4 comes loose and the pressure link 5 is pulled by a pressure sing 13 to contact the recording paper with the thermal head under pressure. When recording is finished, the slide link 3 is slid by opening the cover 2 to enable the replacement of the recording paper. |
