A switch panel of an electrical medium-voltage switching and distribution installation has a power circuit breaker unit, which can be withdrawn and is functionally connected to control elements which can be operated in the case of a switch panel which is closed by means of a door on the front side. For favourable operation of the control elements in the same manner both when the door is closed and when it is open, it is proposed to arrange these control elements (31...34) in a separate control housing (13) which is connected via flexible electrical and/or mechanical transmission elements (17, 18) to the power circuit breaker unit (12) and is possibly connected to connecting points which are arranged in a fixed position in the switch panel (10), and which control housing (13) is otherwise provided with or combined with a cross member (14) which, for its part, can be fastened by means of corresponding retaining means (19, 20, 21, 22, 35, 37) both, within the switch panel, to the front side of the cabinet framework and directly to the power circuit breaker unit. <IMAGE>
