<p>PURPOSE:To save hours and labor and to improve operability by putting two stages of operation together into one stage. CONSTITUTION:All desired measurement points are determined prior to the measurement of the no-load loss of an electric motor. A speed command N1 is supplied to the electric motor in response to a measurement start signal and the armature current is measured when the actual speed value of the electric motor reaches the command N1. Further, magnetic flux is found by a function generator 1 from the current speed N1, the torque is calculated by a no-load torque computing element 2 from the magnetic flux and armature current, and the speed N1 and no-load loss torque are stored 3. Then, the speed command to the electric motor is changed to N2 and the same cycle is repeated. Further, the speed command is changed to NB, N3, N4, and N0 in order by a setter 4 and the cycle is repeated; and the electric motor is stopped when the cycle for the speed command N0 is finished. Thus, the no-load loss of the electric motor is measured.</p> |
