摘要 PURPOSE:To accurately and efficiently adjust the direction or the like of a head light by calculating the centroid position coordinates of a binary image obtained by the binary-encoding processing of a video signal, calculating the positional deviation of the centroid position coordinates from reference position coordinates and moving a light source to change the direction of the light source. CONSTITUTION:The titled control device is provided with a light source 1 for irradiating light having a certain directivity like a head light of an automobile, an image pickup device 2 arranged oppositely to the light source 1 with a prescribed distance and a controller 3 for inputting a video signal VDi from the image pickup device 2 and executing various processing or operation. A TV camera 5 directly picks up a light irradiation pattern obtained by the light source 1 through an optical attenuation filter 4. The controller 3 finds out the centroid position coordinates of the pattern at a high speed, calculates the positional deviation of the centroid position from a reference position at a high speed and changes the direction of the light source so that the positional shear is adjusted to zero.
