<p>PURPOSE:To permit an error compensated current transformer that compensates the specific error and the phase angle error independently of each other to more accurately perform the function by providing a back-turn winding. CONSTITUTION:An auxiliary iron core-side secondary winding 7 having a turn number N3 is provided with a winding 21 to back-turn the winding 7. Thus, the secondary induced voltage varies corresponding to the back-turn ratio. On the other hand, a main iron core-side secondary winding 4 having a turn number N2 is not back-turned. Consequently, the specific error has no change. Varying the induced voltage without changing the specific error permits the exciting current produced by the induced voltage to vary, resulting in the variation of the phase angle error. In other words, providing the winding 7 with the back-turn winding 21 permits the phase angle error to be removed without changing the specific error. Similarly, the specific error can be compensated independently. This permits a more accurate error compensation.</p> |
