A process for repairing inner tubes of bicycles, motor-assisted bicycles, mopeds and motor cycles and also a repair patch for carrying out this process are described. A repair patch is used for this, the adhesive layer of which comprises a layer of contact adhesive, solvent-based adhesive, dispersion adhesive and/or two-component adhesive. For carrying out the process, a covering protecting the adhesive layer of the repair patch is removed, the repair patch is subsequently applied to the adhesive layer on the leaking region of the inner tube and then the repair patch is pressed against the inner tube. <IMAGE>
