<p>A multi-phase treatment system which comprises a mixture separation apparatus (2) having one or more cyclone separators (3) therein. An infeed flow line (4) delivers the multi-phase mixture to the mixture separation apparatus (2) and at least two output flow lines (5 and 6) discharge the mixture in at least a partially separated condition from the mixture separation apparatus (2). The system further includes analysing means (9) which is arranged to analyse the mixture before and/or after entry or discharge from the mixture separation apparatus (2). A central control means (15) is provided which is responsive to information received from the analysing means (9) to control the flow rate in one or more of the flow lines.</p> |
