PURPOSE:To avoid signal fluctuations due to the deviation of an optical axis caused at the attachment/detachment of a connector by incorporating a light emitting element or a photodetector into an optical connector plug to connect a device and optical fiber cable by an electric signal. CONSTITUTION:An electric signal outputted from a driver circuit 1 of a transmitter S is converted into an optical signal by the light emitting element 3 of an optical connector plug 2. The optical signal is transmitted through the optical fiber cable 4 and sent to a receiver R. The optical signal is converted into the photodetector 6 of the optical connector plug 5 of the receiver R and becomes an input signal of an amplifier circuit 7. Through the constitution above, since the light emitting element 3 and the photodetector 6 are incorporated respectively into the optical connector plugs 2, 5, the connection between the optical connector plug and the receptacle is executed by an electric signal. |
