The transducer has a coil moving in the gap formed by its magnetic system. A damping piece (6) is held inside a hollow housing (1) and its outer edge (6a) is fixed to the housing. The magnetic system's yoke (8) is fixed to the inner edge (6b) of the damping piece and held in way that allows it to move relative to the housing. The magnetic interaction between the magnetic system's field and the magnetic housing and yoke causes mechanical oscillations. The damping piece is located in the plane that contains the air gap (12) and may consist of two parts - one inside the plane of the air gap and the other outside it.
|
