A tubular lamp includes a tubular bulb (10). A plurality of coiled filaments (20) and short-circuit wires (22) are alternately arranged in the bulb, along the axis of the bulb. Each filament is coiled into a predetermined inner diameter, and has a luminant section (20a), and engagement sections (20b) located at both ends thereof. Each short-circuit wire has a lower hardness than the filament and a larger diameter than the inner diameter of the filament.
