摘要 <p>New resorufin glycoside derivs. (I) and (II) [R=glycosyl; R2,R3,R5=H, halogen or alkyl; R4,R6=H, halogen, CN, alkyl, alkoxy, CO2H, alkoxycarbonyl(alkyl), carboxyalkyl, or CO2(CH2CH2)nR7; or R6=NO2 or a sulphonyl gp.; R7=H or alkyl; n=1-4; Y=N or N - O are prepd. Thus, redn. of resazurin with NaHSO3 in aq. NH3 give 85% resorufin, which is glycosylated at room temp. in CH2Cl with acetobromo-alpha- D-galactose, AgO, CaSO4, oxo, and quinoline to give 40% resorufin beta-D-galactopyranoside(III) [R7=Ac . The latter is deacetylated at 0≰C in MeONa/MeOH with stirring to give 0.2g III (R7=H). (I) are useful as fluorogenic substrates for determn. of glycosidase enzymes, esp. beta-galactosidase.</p>
