<p>PURPOSE:To mount and remove a cartridge without difficulty even when a power source is turned on by turning off the supply of the power source during electrically connecting and disconnecting a cartridge and a main body device even when the power source is turned on. CONSTITUTION:When the power source 9 is turned on and a cartridge is inserted into an accommodating part, a microswitch 10 is turned off. Therefore, the voltage supply of the secondary side of the power source 9 is stopped. In such a condition, the terminal 6 of the cartridge is inserted into a terminal receiver 8 and respective terminal pieces 5 are connected electrically to the terminal receiver 8. Under this state, a cartridge contact 7 has one end connected electrically to the terminal receiver 8 and the control terminal TC of the power source 9 remains turned off. Then, when the cartridge is inserted into the accommodating part, both ends of the contact 7 are connected electrically to the terminal receiver 8, the terminal TC is turned on and the power is supplied from the secondary side of the power source 9. Then, when the power source 9 is turned on and the cartridge is extracted, the above mentioned operations are carried out in a reverse sequence.</p> |
