<p>PURPOSE:To permit a selection of proper paper when an enlarged or reduced copy is made, by selecting a tray containing copy paper of which size is equal to or larger than a size obtained by multiplying a reduction or enlarging ratio to a size of a document sensed by document size sensing means for effecting copying operation. CONSTITUTION:An operator depresses a tray selection key 67 for enabling an automatic selection function to operate. A document is placed on a prescribed position. Next, a key for setting an reduction or enlarging ratio is depressed so that a desired reduction or enlarging ratio is shown on a display. Then, control means 62 selects a copy sheet of which size is equal to the size which is obtained by multiplying the reduction or enlarging ratio to a document size and when a copy sheet of which size is proper is not available, the control means 62 selects a copy sheet of which size is larger than and nearest to the obtained size. With such an arrangement, the operator can make a copy without making an error without considering the size of copy paper and the like in a reduced or enlarged copy.</p> |
