PURPOSE:To continuously chop a workpiece with high efficiency by providing a pair of cutter rollers including a plurality of cut blades provided on a circumferential surface thereof in an equal arc interval and patches provided among said blades so as to allow said blades and patches to face at such rotation phases that said blades and patches are brought into contact with each other, in a sheet trimming chopper. CONSTITUTION:Cutter plates 18 equipped with cut blades 18a are positioned and fixed in three mounting grooves 17a in an arc interval of, for example, 120 deg. provided on a circumference of a roller 17 by means of a press plate 21, a bolt 22, and a mounting screw 23. Patches 19 composed of tungalloy, etc., are mounted among the cutter plates 18. A pair of cutter rollers 9 are disposed while facing to each other so as to provide such a phase relation thereof that the blade plate 18 of one of the rollers 9 is brought into contact with the patch 19 of the other of the rollers 9. With such constitution, a workpiece is put between both the cutter rollers 9, and cut down in an arc interval of 60 deg. by contact thereof with the blade plate 18 and the patch 19. In such a way, the workpiece can be continuously cut with high efficiency. |
