The function of the contact plate (12) and its indicator (22) in an electrical test circuit is controlled by at least one positioning unit (25) which, through an external impulse and/or on alterations in the position or drive state of the surface protection and/or machine, moves the contact plate to an end position in which both the indicator and the test circuit must be closed before confirmation is received that correct drive function in the safety arrangement is in force. The electrical test circuit (29) activatable by the contact plate (12) is integrated with the machine control or drive system, which is broken when the plate is touched or moved by the positioning unit to its one lower end position. The contact plate (12), by at least one positioning unit (25), is movable from a position in which indicators (22,26) are activated to close the drive circuit (27) of the machine to a position in which indicators (22,28) in the test circuit (29) can be activated to control their function and that of the contact plate. |
