PURPOSE:To enable to produce cylindrical heat shrinking coating by using a specified fluoroplastic for an image maintaining member. CONSTITUTION:An electrostatic image or a toner image is held on a cylindrical heat-shrinking film comprising tetrafluoroethylene/hexafluoropropylene copolymer as an image maintaining member, and the film is shrunk by heating to form a surface layer. Since the copolymer has far lower melting point and melt viscosity than polytetrafluoroethylene, a cylindrical heat shrinking film can be formed. Raw material resin 1 is fed to a hopper 6 and melted by heating, and extruded from a circular die 2. Compressed air is fed from an inlet 3 of the air to draw the cylindrical film. The film is folded by a roll 4 and is wound by a winding roll 5. |
