PURPOSE:To make possible to coexist the resource protecting with the upper sensitivity of the titled material by incorporating a specific cyan coupler into a red color photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer, and by specifying a thickness of the constituting layer and the swelling rate of a film of a binder, and by processing the titled material with a bleach- fixing solution contg. the two valent iron complex of an organic acid. CONSTITUTION:The red color photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer comprises the cyan couplers shown by formula I or II. And the sum of the thicknesses of the photosensitive constituting layers is especially preferable to be <=20mum. The film swelling rate T1/2 of the binder contd. in the photographic emulsion layer is the most preferable to be <=10sec. The titled material having the properties as mentioned above is exposed imagewise, and then developed followed by processing it with the bleach-fixing solution contg. the two valent iron complex of the organic acid. The photographic constituting layer means all hydrophilic colloidal layers which take part in the formation of an image, and lie in the same surface to that coated with at least 3 layers of a blue color, a green color and a red color photosensi tive silver halide emulsion layers on the surface of the substrate. When an anti-halation layer of the black colored colloidal silver is provided, the processing is especially effective.
