Mechanism is intended for delivering a number of objects (headed pins ) in a pre-determined pattern at a given position (e.g. bores in an injection-moulding die 33). Mechanism comprises a carrier which is movable between a receiving position and the delivery position and provided with a number of (e.g. permanent) magnets arranged in the required pattern, and means to feed objects to the respective magnets when the carrier is in the receiving position. The carrier may be movable in a housing between a position adjacent to a non-ferromagnetic plate to attract the objects at the receiving point and a retracted position to release the objects at the delivery point (to which the housing is movable).
