<p>The process comprises (a) incubating free extracts of penicillin chysogenum AS-P-78 cells with Isopenicillin N-synthesase activity in presence of phenoxyacetyl L-cysteinyl D-valine in a reaction medium of Buffer Tris-HCl 30 mM, ditrotreitol (DTT) 6 mM, FeSO4 0.1 mM and sodium ascorbate 1 mM at pH 8-10, and 20-37 deg.C for 2 hrs., to cyclise the synthetic heteropeptide.</p> |
