Automatic guiding device for a tractor-drawn agricultural machine intended to follow a path which is fixed beforehand with respect to a sowing or crop, characterised in that it comprises means for altering the orientation of the steering wheels of the machine as a function of the declivity of the ground, these means comprising a small wheel 6 intended to follow a track 27 defining the path of the machine with respect to a sowing or crop, the said small wheel being mounted on an arm 7 which can move angularly with respect to the direction of the said track, a sensor 21 for determining the angular position of the said arm, and a device 24 for controlling the orientation of the steering wheels 4 of the machine as a function of the angular position of this arm 7. <IMAGE>
