A circuit arrangement for steering a vehicle is described, having an emergency reset of the steering in the event of power failure. The emergency reset comprises a reversing valve which, in the event of a power failure, deflects the hydraulic oil to an emergency steering valve which is mechanically connected to a deflection lever of the steering and which feeds back the hydraulic oil in a pressureless fashion to the tank for straight-ahead travel. When going round a bend, and in the event of a power failure, the emergency steering valve feeds the hydraulic oil into the steering cylinders in such a way that the latter reset the deflection lever in the direction of straight-ahead travel. The emergency reset according to the invention requires only proven components.
