In order to obtain a heat-insulated container which is capable of being formed into arbitrary outer shape and dimensions, and which has excellent heat insulating characteristics and a high impact resistance, each container wall is made by forming its two surfaces of sheets (1, 2) having a permeability of zero and a high reflectivity, and making the space (4) between these two surfaces vacuous by packing cavity cores (6) to maintain the space in substantially hollow state. This container is utilized as a thermos jug, a cooler box and a refrigerator. |
