PURPOSE:To make easy tuning of a resonator possible by fitting a communication pipe member to the resonator on the way of an introducing passage provided by branching from a point along a gas flow passage to raise silencing effect for low frequency noise and changing the fitting position of the resonator to the introducing pipe. CONSTITUTION:From a suction air lead-in pipe 3 connected to an air cleaner 4, an introducing pipe 7 having almost the same diameter as the lead-in pipe 3 is branched. On the way of the introducing pipe 7, a resonator 10 comprising a sealed resonance chamber 8 and a communication pipe member 9 to communicate the resonance chamber 8 and the introducing pipe 7 is fabricated. The sealed resonance chamber 8 is a blow-mold product and on a part of it an opened fixing pipe 8a and an opened fixing pipe 7a of the introducing pipe 7 are communicated through the communication pipe member 9. |
