PURPOSE:To enable the pixel density and diameter to be changed easily by integrally constituting a nozzle, a charging electrode and an upper deflection electrode as a single unit and replacing the unit. CONSTITUTION:A nozzle 11, a charging electrode 12 and an upper deflection electrode 13 are held integrally as a unit with the help of a holder 14. The unit is constituted in such a manner that it is attachable and detachable on an ink jet head. In addition, a variety of units having varying nozzle diameter, gap between nozzle and charging electrode and length of deflection electrode in accordance with pixel density and diameter to be printed are available. Thus a required unit is selected and used according to pixel density and diameter to be printed. Thus it is possible to print in plural different pixel densities and diameters using a single recorder. |
