<p>PURPOSE:To reduce a useless space and improve a power generating efficiency by engaging elastically a current terminal ring with the external circumference of a current terminal and moreover engaging a gas supply terminal for supplying a fuel gas to a battery stack with the external circumference of the current terminal ring. CONSTITUTION:A current terminal ring 12 for connecting a external electric circuit is elastically engaged with the external circumference of a current terminal 4 provided at both ends of external surface of porous hollow ceramic tube 2. Thereby, the soldering or welding for connecting a lead wire 13 may be eliminated and manufacturing process can be simplified. In addition, a gas supplying terminal 14 for supplying the fuel gas to a battery stack 11 is engaged with the external circumference of the current terminal ring 12. Thereby the battery stack 11 may be protected from excessive load and mechanical breakdown. Moreover, a mechanical load by thermal expansion to be applied vertically may also be eliminated, and preliminary heating or cooling of the battery stack 11 are no longer necessary and thereby length of a battery element may be increased and the power generating efficiency may also be improved.</p> |
