The invention relates to a developing station and an apparatus for reproducing originals by means of diazocopy. The station includes especially means for driving the copy and means for revealing the latent image carried by the copy. The means for driving the copy are constituted by a cylinder 2 set into a rotational movement which interacts with a fixed belt 6 stretched between two attachment zones 7, 8, the belt 6 surrounding a portion of the surface of the cylinder 2, the copy moving under the effect of the rotation between the cylinder 2 and the belt 6. The means for revealing the latent image carried by the copy are means for putting the copy into contact with the substance for revealing the latent image, these means are formed by at least one channel 22 located on the surface 24 of the belt 6 not in contact with the copy, the internal space of the channel 22 communicating with the surface 25 of the belt 6 in contact with the copy by means of openings 26 traversing the belt 6, the channel 22 being provided with means 27 for inlet and outlet of the substance. The developing station is particularly intended for making an apparatus for reproducing originals by means of diazocopy of modular design. <IMAGE>
