Device for learning how to swim correctly with an optimum body position and for controlling and limiting the arm stroke of a person learning to swim, comprising floats which can be mounted on the upper parts of the body and on the upper arms of the person learning to swim and are connected to one another, in the case of which device, the annular, hollow, air-filled floats (12), which encircle one upper arm of the person learning to swim in each case and are known per se, are connected to one another by means of a curved web (13) which is arranged below the armpits and in front of the chest of the person learning to swim, is designed as a hollow, air-filled float and is adapted to the body shape, and are fixedly connected to the said web (13). <IMAGE>
