PURPOSE:To change speed of large power by providing a worm wheel engaged with a worm connected to a control portion on one of two output shafts of a differential gear. CONSTITUTION:A differential gear 1 includes an input shaft 2, the first output shaft 3 and the second output shaft 4. A worm wheel 5 is fixed to the first output shaft 3, and a worm 6 is engaged with the worm wheel 5. The worm 6 is connected to a control portion 7. In this arrangement, the rotational frequency of the first output shaft 3 is controlled by the control portion 7 to change the rotational frequency of a member 8 subjected to speed change, which is connected to the second output shaft 4.
