The electrohydraulic power amplifier contains a pair of nozzles (25, 26) of a control cascade (20) which are attached in an opposed manner inside and along the longitudinal axis of the plunger control spool (17) accommodated in a housing (1) and are rigidly connected to the plunger control spool (17) and a pair of nozzles (27, 28) of the control cascade (20) which are hydraulically connected to the end chambers (18, 19) of the plunger of the control spool (17) and are rigidly fastened in an opposed manner in the housing (1).
