PURPOSE:To illuminate the surface of an original at high efficiency by making a part of the cover of lens arrays that makes projection of desired magnification by selective switching a part of the reflecting plate of an illuminating device. CONSTITUTION:Parts 40a, 40b of a cover 4 that houses convergent light transmitting lens arrays 1, 2 for unmagnification and variable power are positioned as extension of a reflecting plate 31 of an illuminating device 30. The lens array 1 is positioned in the optical path opposite to glass plates 8, 9, and distances from the conjugate point, the center of the lens array, 01 to an original 33, and to a photosensitive face 34 are made equal for unmagnification. A fixing member 3 that supports the lens array is moved parallel to the left to shift the array 2 in the optical path for reduction, and the whole is turned further by 180 deg. for enlarging. As a part of the cover 4 is made a reflecting plate, the surface of the original can be illuminated efficiently and it becomes not necessary to enlarge the capacity of light source. |
