A flexible suitcase has a frame of generally rectangular shape which is moulded in one piece from a plastic such as polyamide, polyester or polypropylene. The frame is reinforced by a symmetrically positioned groove (2) which runs around the perimeter and opens outwards. The frame incorporates supports for rollers (11) for a handle (10) and for other fittings. The frame is stronger than those usually fitted in suitcases and the incorporation of supports for the fittings simplifies their installation and reduces manufacturing costs.
