<p>ADHESIVE BAG CLOSURE THAT OPENS EASILY BY HAND BUT RESISTS OPENING BY CONTENTS A closure suitable for use with a flexible bag, such as a sandwich bag where the closure comprises a bag opening formed of two walls one of which terminates in an interior fold of film and an adhesive strip located on an internal surface of one of the walls whereby a seal is formed by contacting the pressure sensitive adhesive with a section of a substantially flat portion of an interior surface of the other of the walls. In a particularly preferred embodiment the closure comprises a channel strip affixed to a first surface of a wall and positioned internal to a bag, the channel member having a layer of pressure sensitive adhesive less than the interior height of the channel or channel ribs and located on an internal portion of the channel strip, and a second wall with an interior surface having a substantially flat portion.</p> |
