An arrangement for selectively feeding rounds from one of two conveyors (98, 102) to a gatling gun includes a centre sprocket (34), right and left unload sprockets (22, 26), and right and left transfer sprockets (76, 82). In use, to feed rounds from the right conveyor (98), the housing (52) which supports both conveyors is moved to the left to bring sprockets (76) into aperture engagement with the centre sprocket, the transfer of rounds following the arrows. To feed rounds from the left conveyor, the housing is moved to the right to bring the sprocket (82) into aperture engagement with the centre sprocket and to move sprocket (76) out of engagement. During feed from both directions the rotor (16) moves in the same direction so that for left feed the rounds pass from the lower run of the left conveyor anticlockwise round the centre sprocket and rotor and are moved along the upper run of the conveyor by sprocket (28). <IMAGE> |
