PURPOSE:To preferably transmit torque at a superconductive rotor by providing sealing means and oil returning means at the internal vacuum side of a bearing box, supplying bearing oil to the sliding surfaces and torque transmitting section, and preventing the introduction of the oil to the internal vacuum side, thereby absorbing the thermal shrinkage. CONSTITUTION:The end of an outside shaft 6 is disposed in a bearing box 8, and a telescopic sealing means for isolating the air in the box 8 and atmosphere of the lubricating oil from the vacuum atmosphere in a cylinder 5 is provided at the end of the superconductive field coil 1 side (internal vacuum side) of the sliding surface. A drain reservoir 10 is provided over the entire periphery of the sliding surface and a plurality of pores 11 are formed at the outside shaft 6 to shortcircuit in the bearing box with the reservoir 10 are provided so that unnecessary bearing oil may not enter into the internal vacuum side. In this manner, bearing oil oozes on the sliding surfaces of the inside and outside shafts 4 and 6, and the lubrication of the sliding surfaces and the torque transmitting member 7 can be enabled. |
