摘要 PURPOSE:To enable printing with a high image density and free of voids or ground contamination to be performed even on a paper poor in surface smoothness, by constituting a resin binder of a mixture of a polycaprolactone having an average molecular weight of 40,000-60,000 and a polycaprolactone having an average molecular weight of 70,000-100,000. CONSTITUTION:A polycaprolactone having an average molecular weight of 40,000-60,000 is mixed with a polycaprolactone having an average molecular weight of 70,000-100,000 in a ratio of 3:1-15:1. A thermal transfer layer comprises 99-50% (based on the total amount of the layer) of the polycaprolactones, 1-40% of a coloring agent and, optionally, 0-10% of additives such as a dispersant, an oil, an extender and a plasticizer. The thickness of the layer is suitably 4-10mum. In this way, printing with a high image density and free of voids or ground contamination can be performed even on a recording material poor in surface smoothness.
