BOBBIN INSERTING METHOD IN ROVING MACHINE

PURPOSE:To judge engaging conditions of a bobbin with a bobbin wheel from a distance of a doffing arm and the bobbin tip when the doffing arm is lowered to a specific position, by lowering an empty bobbin in a state of hanging and supporting on the doffing arm from above the bobbin wheel. CONSTITUTION:A projector 28 and two receptors (28a) and (28b) are provided in one line on the bottom surface of a branched fork part 18 and the engaging conditions of an empty bobbin 6 with a bobbin wheel are judged from which receptor receives the light projected from the projector 27. The engaging conditions of the empty bobbin 6 with the bobbin wheel can be judged by a proximity switch and a lever.
