In order to provide a soap holder having a support for the contact surface of a piece of soap, in which the piece of soap concerned can quickly dry off without being worn by making contact with the contact surface and by sticking-on, it is proposed to form the contact surface from an easily exchangeable textile material which can also be easily cleaned.
