A sail device (2) to be attached to the back of a bicycle rider (4) has a harness (6) to permit attachment to the rider. A frame (8) is attached to the harness and a further frame (10) is pivotally attached to that frame (8). A control (26, 28,30,32,34,36) is provided to control pivoting of the two frames. A sail (38) is mounted on the further frame (10) and is movable between an extended position and a retracted position. The device has controls (40,42,44,46,48,50) to extend and retract the sail. |
