PURPOSE:To illuminate a main exposing device, an optical destaticizing system, and a fixing preheat system, respectively, by a suitable illuminance, by bringing a beam from a single light source, to a wavelength separation by a dichroic mirror, and leading it to each illuminating position by a rod in accordance with a use purpose. CONSTITUTION:A rod 10a is divided into two optical paths on the way, one and the other are divided and placed to a main exposing system and an optical destaticizing system, respectively, and a rod 10b is placed directly to a fixing preheat system. Also, in the vicinity of the end part (an oblique line part) of each load, a diffusion reflecting material of a semi-cylindrical shape is attached, by which light in the rod is irradiated in the direction (arrow) vertical to a long axis of the rod. Light from a light source 8 passes through a condenser lens 9a, and thereafter, light (infrared area) which is reflected by a dichroic mirror 11 is made incident on the rod 10b by a condenser lens 9c. The light which has passed through the rod 10b preheats a fixing device 16, therefore, a point C is illuminated (heated) uniformly. |
