<p>A device for welding a thin wire is fastened to an element which is to be joined to the wire. The device has a base part which forms the contact surface with the element, a wire-mounting part which is designed in one piece with the base part and has at its top free end an opening which is of a smaller diameter than the diameter of the wire and has a cross-section in the shape of an inverted omega, and also a guide-flange part which is constructed in one piece with the mounting part and is formed by flanges which extend upwards from the opening of the mounting part, specifically in a direction which points away from the base part and from one another. After the wire is inserted into the mounting part of the device by being guided along the guide-flange part, the opening of the mounting part and the part corresponding to the opening of the wire are welded from above the opening, laser beams, electron beams or a brazing process being used.</p> |
