PURPOSE:To obtain the titled material having a high sensitivity and an improved storage stability by incorporating a silver halide particle having a higher silver iodide content in a center range than that in an outer range thereof and having a mean aspect ratio of >=8/1, and by incorporating a specific pyrazoloazole coupler to the titled material. CONSTITUTION:The aspect ratio of the silver halide particle is preferably (8-20)/1. The silver halide contg. the silver iodide may be used various kinds thereof, for example, the silver chloroiodide and the silver iodobromide, preferably, the silver iodobromide. And the diameter of the silver halide particle (for example, a plant silver iodobromide particle) is preferably >=0.5mum, more preferably, 0.5-1.5mum. The specific pyrazoloazole coupler contains the compd. shown by the formula, and a twin particle having >=8/1 the mean aspect ratio, and also contains 1X10<-3>-1mol, preferably, 1X10<-2>-8X10<-1>mol per 1mol of the silver halide. |
