PURPOSE:To prevent deformation and surface defects by interposing a surface- roughened ring having the inside diameter a little larger than the outside diameter of a support shaft and the outside diameter a little larger than those of cylindrical substrates between both substrates to be fitted on said shaft adjacent to each other. CONSTITUTION:Rings 8 are inserted between both cylindrical substrates 2, 3 of a photosensitive body and between the substrate 3 and a spacer pipe 7. The ring 8 has the inside diameter a little larger than the outside diameter of the support shaft 1 and the outside diameter a little larger than those of the substrates 2, 3. The presence of the ring 8 prevents collision of the ends of the substrates 2, 3, protrusion of each thin-walled part 6 of one-side substrate on the other part of the substrate, the resulting deformation, and scattering of selenium or aluminum powder. The roughening of the surface of the ring 8 prevents the surface difects of the photosensitive body due to scattering of selenium powder adhering to the surface of the ring 8'. |
