PURPOSE:To position a light emitting element body at a suitable position without using other parts by positioning it by engaging the body with the hole of a substrate and connecting a terminal to the substrate at the periphery of the hole. CONSTITUTION:A light emitting diode engaging unit 5a is engaged with a substrate 6 having a hole 7 corresponding to the diameter of the body portion of a light emitting diode 5, and the diode 5 is positioned. Since a terminal 5b is mounted on the substrate 6, it is bent in a U-shape, and soldered. Thus, since the diode 5 is engaged at the body with the substrate 6, the light emitting unit does not move even if a lateral force is applied, and the position does not displace. Since the hole of the substrate 6 is accurately formed, the diode 5 can be accurately positioned. |
