A carrying body 17 is rotated in the direction of an arrow at this time and carries sample grains, which are guided from a grain lifter to a carrying device 19 through a sample grain taking-out part 15, grain by grain in cooperation with a guide plate 18 while arranging sample grains, and they are discharged from the carrying terminal onto the electrode roll 1 and are crushed. The grain temperature of crushed grains is measured by the grain temperature measuring device approximately synchronously with this crushing timing. The resistance value of grains is converted to a moisture voltage by an R/V converter and is converted to a digital quantity by an A/D converter and is taken into the CPU and is converted to a moisture content. Thus, the moisture measured value of high precision is obtained.
