PURPOSE:To print a tabular body accurately without variance by controlling timing, at which the tabular body is inserted between a plate cylinder and an impression cylinder, by a projection formed to the necessary section of the plate cylinder under the state in which rolling contact is ensured. CONSTITUTION:A carrier 12 is moved in the direction of the plate cylinder 10 by the following of a cam follower 17 along the outer circumference of a cam 16 turned synchronized with the plate cylinder 10 where parting from the plate cylinder 10 of the carrier 12. When the nose section of the tabular body 14 is drawn close to just before the tabular body is inserted between the plate cylinder 10 and the compression cylinder 10', the projection 11 of the plate cylinder 10 is in contact with the contact surface 13 of the carrier 12 while the cam follower 17 is detached from an eccentric cam 16. A pin 15 is pulled in from the base surface of the tabular body 14 of the carrier 12 at that time, and the tabular body 14 is released from connection by the pin 15, thus forwarding the tabular body 14 with the revolution of the plate cylinder 10 and the compression cylinder 10'. |
