PURPOSE:To apply an animal repellent substance having prolonged efficacy without wasting large amounts of active constituents, by incorporating and adsorbing the animal repellent substance on ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer beads, and sprinkling, coating or arranging the resultant beads in places. CONSTITUTION:5-20vol% aminal repellent substance for dogs, cats, wild boars, birds,insects, mites, etc., is diluted with a solvent, e.g. alcohol, or without dilution mixed and adsorbed on 95-80vol% ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer beads, and the resultant beads are sprinkled, applied or put into a container, etc., and arranged in places such as under the floor of houses, etc., or places where dogs or cats or cockroaches go in and out. As for the repellent substance, lemongrass oil or citral is used for dogs and cats, and diethyltoluamide, etc., is used for insects. Commercially available copolymer beads may be used. |
