<p>PURPOSE:To certainly prevent the leak of fuel outside from a vent tube by arranging a cut-off valve which is opened by the cooperation of the switches for detecting the opening of a filler lid and the stop of a car midway into the vent tube. CONSTITUTION:When a filler lid 20 is closed, a car speed switch 16 and an opener switch 15 cooperate to open a cut-off valve 13, and a vent tube 14A is opened. Therefore, when oil is supplied by inserting an oil feeding gun 7 into the charging port 2a of a filler tube 2, the evaporated fuel staying in the upper space S in a tank body 1 is introduced into canisters 6 and 5, passing through the vent tube 4A and an evaporating tube 3A until a float valve 10 is closed. When the supply of oil is completed, and the filler lid 20 is closed, and a car starts, the car speed switch 16 is turned-OFF, and a relay contact point 19 is opened to form the operating circuit of the cut-off valve 13, which is opened to cut off the vent tube 4A.</p> |
