PURPOSE:To reduce the gap between the 1st and the 2nd lenses and the gap between an optical isolator and the 3rd lens close to an optical fiber and to reduce the size of a photoconductor module by installing the optical isolator between the 3rd and the 2nd lenses. CONSTITUTION:Forward light 12 emitted by the laser semiconductor chip 1 in the photosemiconductor module is passed through the 1st lens 2, the 2nd lens 4, and the optical isolator 3 and converged by the 3rd lens 5 to be made incident on the optical fiber 6. All of the forward light 12 emitted by a laser semiconductor ship 1, on the other hand, is not made incident and part of it passes through the 3rd lens 5 and the 2nd lens 4 as backward light 13 and is dispersed by a deflecting prism 31. In this case, the optical isolator 3 is arranged between the 2nd lens 4 and the 3rd lens 5, so the gap between the 1st lens 3 and the 2nd lens 4 is reduced to (c) and the gap between the 2nd lens and the 3rd lens becomes (d). |
