The invention relates to an apparatus for observing a celestial chart. The apparatus consists of two coaxial tubes 1, 2 fitted into each other so that they can rotate independently of each other about their common axis. The tube 1 carries an eyepiece 3 and a diaphragm 4 fitted with an eccentric circular window 5. The tube 2 carries a translucent or transparent film on which the sky chart 9 is located. Application to the observation of a celestial chart with the possibility of simultaneously observing the sky. <IMAGE>
