The present invention relates to a method for producing retaining walls designed as elements produced, for the most part, in the factory, and assembled and fixed together on site. The elements 1, 4, 5, 7, 9, 11 are produced in the factory in an industrial manner; the elements 2, 3, 6, 8, 10 are produced in a conventional manner on location. This method makes it possible to use less material, to considerably reduce the production costs, the duration of the works, the risks of accidents inherent in overhead work; finally, it allows the creation of an architectural facing chosen for the visible face. <IMAGE>
